Eric Vryn is a freelance photojournalist based in Central Texas, covering the San Antonio–Austin corridor and surrounding communities. He photographs public life—politics, civic demonstrations, and community stories—with a field approach shaped by prior military service and years working inside Texas government.

He is FAA Part 107 certified. He holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) and the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ).
